Narodni Trida is a UK-based band that creates mainly instrumental tracks with strong post-rock, space-rock and jazz influences. Collectively our influences include postrock bands like Aerial M/Papa M, Tortoise, Mogwai, Rachels, Slint, Rodan, Godspeed You! Black Emporer; indie/shoegazing bands like Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, early Ride, Explosions In The Sky, Mogwai; and unclassifiable artists like Hood, The Necks, early PIL, Miles Davis, Joy Division, Moonshake, David Sylvian.
Narodni Trio session at the gimp sheds in rural Cambridge. Hot and dark conditions are reflected in some dense and aggressive pieces. Prepared pieces by the not-present Laurence are improvised over by those actually in the room.
